The 2026 festival will showcase the country’s best-known expert horticulturalists and TV gardening personalities, the crowning of the very first RHS award-winning show gardens of the year, the latest in horticultural trends, plus plenty of food, drink and shopping opportunities as well as fun family activities.
Theme for 2026: Roots of the Future
Honour the past, grow the future.

Show Gardens and Indoor Plant Gardens
The 2026 festival will welcome the return of the RHS-judged Indoor Plant Gardens, located in the Festival of Houseplants, which made a pioneering and successful debut at last year’s festival, as well as the first RHS-judged outdoor Show Gardens of 2026. All gardens will be meticulously designed by leading and emerging horticultural talents, and carefully scrutinised by the RHS judges for the very first, coveted gold medal prizes of the year. Feature Gardens
A new feature garden, ‘Clay: The Super Soil’, designed by Cheltenham-based Martyn Wilson, will showcase the (perhaps somewhat unknown or surprising) benefits of clay soil. This new feature garden will include demonstrations on clay materials and soil improvement, as well as planting displays and soil profile windows for practical inspiration. Find out more here.
The Kitchen Theatre, sponsored by Greenhouse People and designed by John Wheatley MBE, will also return to the Festival with the new theme of ‘Grow Your World’. Find out more here. You don’t need to book Theatre slots and these sessions are included in your ticket. We recommend arriving early to secure a seat.
The Bloom Together Community Garden designed by Three Counties Agricultural Society and Jon Wheatley MBE of Stonebarn Landscapes Ltd is a warm and inviting space designed to bring vibrant colour, texture, and community spirit to the heart of the Festival. Find out more here.
Blooming Borders
A new Blooming Borders category will debut at RHS Malvern Spring Festival in 2026, offering both emerging and more experienced garden designers the opportunity to showcase their creativity and talent in a new way. Each border will be meticulously designed and convey its own individual theme, and all will be carefully considered by RHS judges, with the very best awarded a sought-after prize. Floral Marquee, sponsored by HSBC UK
The enormous Floral Marquee, sponsored by HSBC UK, packed with over 70 of the UK’s top nurseries (that’s even more than last year), alongside the Plant Village and Pavilions, will all return fully stocked, providing the opportunity to seek advice from expert growers and to buy choice plants and rare gems. Floral Tablescaping
This year, prepare to be enchanted by a unique showcase of floral artistry. Step inside our charming garden shed and discover how flowers can transform an ordinary space into an extraordinary dining experience.

Master Grower
Each year, the RHS select a leading nursery to feature in the RHS Master Grower scheme, which acknowledges and awards recognition to specialist nurseries that use sound, skillful production methods to cultivate plants for their display and sale. The 2026 Master Grower is W&S Lockyer. Find out more.
Festival of Houseplants
The much-loved Festival of Houseplants is back, inviting visitors to explore a vibrant world of indoor greenery and discover how easy, affordable, and rewarding houseplants can be.
Enjoy RHS-judged Indoor Plant Gardens, interactive workshops, and browse a stunning selection of houseplants, rare specimens, and stylish accessories. With new features and exhibitors, it’s the ultimate destination for plant lovers and interior design enthusiasts alike. Find out more.

Special Guests
Enjoy a packed programme in the Festival’s theatres, featuring dynamic talks, demonstrations, and expert advice from exciting new special guests from the worlds of horticulture and the culinary arts. The 2026 line-up of special guests has been announced including Monty Don OBE, Alan Titchmarsh CBE, Dame Mary Berry and Raymond Blanc OBE! See the full list of who will be joining us here.

Crocus Café
This new café will operate on a walk‑in‑only basis and will serve salads, sandwiches, light lunches, breakfast, hot and cold drinks and a selection of sweet treats. It’ll be the perfect place to refresh and relax before heading back out to explore everything the Festival has to offer.

Children’s Activities
