This means the gardens come in many shapes or forms and are based on different themes – classical, contemporary or conceptual. This results in a varied and eye-catching range of stunning gardens each year at the prestigious RHS event in Malvern.

Malcolm Anderson, RHS Head of Sustainability said about the winning garden:
‘ONE’ is project distinguished by its intelligent, considered use of materials, delivering a visually arresting design that is contemporary but not naturalistic, and ultimately aspirational in its vision for sustainable, forward‑thinking Garden Spaces.
Using ropes to secure the bricks to the backing board, rather than adhesive, allows the garden to be reshaped over time as its needs evolve.
This year’s winning entry powerfully illustrates how style and sustainability can not only coexist, but elevate one another.
