Bloom Together Community Garden with Heart of England Britain in Bloom Group

Designer: Three Counties Agricultural Society and Jon Wheatley of Stonebarn Landscapes supporting Britain in Bloom

Supported by: Agriframes

The Bloom Together Community Garden is a warm and inviting space designed to bring vibrant colour, texture, and community spirit to the heart of the Festival.

Beautifully planted seasonal containers create a rich tapestry of interest throughout the space, while benches and seating are thoughtfully placed among the planting welcoming areas encourage visitors to pause, unwind, and chat with Bloom volunteers about their work.

This collaborative garden celebrates the talent, passion, and creativity found across the region. Every planter has been prepared and planted by dedicated Bloom volunteers from Heart of England in Bloom groups, working under the guidance of multi‑award‑winning horticulturalist Jon Wheatley of Stonebarn Landscapes. Visitors will also be able to explore a creative display of inscriptions, capturing personal reflections from Bloom groups on what the movement means to them. These heartfelt contributions express the joy, pride, and community connections that define Britain in Bloom – bringing the wider Bloom community together in a shared celebration of its enduring impact.

The garden has been made possible through the generous support of long‑standing Britain in Bloom champion Jon Wheatley MBE VMH, alongside Agriframes who have kindly contributed the elegant arbour and arches that frame the space beautifully.
