Show Gardens for RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2023 start to take shape

Show Garden Designers and Landscape Contractors began the build of their beautiful show gardens for RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2023 yesterday, on a day known as Breaking Ground Day.
The day symbolises the start of a journey to shape the first Show Gardens to be judged by the RHS during the floral show season.
This year there will be five show gardens for visitors to enjoy:
- Rick Ford and Katie Gentle’s Bee Positive Bee Kind Be Aware garden will be sponsored by Monmouth-based Bees for Development
- Laura Ashton Phillips’ has designed the Greener Gloucestershire NHS Garden sponsored by Gloucestershire Managed Services and Gloucestershire County Council
- Emily Crowley-Wroe will be creating the HomeAway garden sponsored by Task Academy and built by JG Landscaping
- Stuart Bugby, senior designer at Helyers of Hampshire has designed the Expression garden built by the Helyers of Hampshire team.
- Jamie Langlands, Lead designer at Oxford Garden design will be creating the Wilder Spaces garden sponsored by Berkshire, Buckinghamshire & Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) and Future Nature WTC, the Trust’s ecological consultancy, and built by Oxford Garden Design
There will also be three experiential Feature Gardens at RHS Malvern Spring Festival, including:
- Leaf Tropicana designed by multi-gold medal winner Peter Dowle of Leaf Creative
- Coast to Country designed by the multi-gold medal winning team at Worcestershire-based tree specialist Villaggio Verde
- Grow, Gather and Sow designed by award-winning designer Jon Wheatley
