DOGTASTIC celebrates the nation’s love of dogs at the Three Counties Showground
The all-new event promises to be the paw-fect day out for dogs (and their families!) this Autumn.
DOGTASTIC, a fun-filled family day devoted to the nation’s favourite four-legged friends, takes place at the Three Counties Showground on Sunday, October 18.
Visitors can enter their dogs into the ‘just-for-fun’ dog show, be wowed by thrilling dog display acts, shop for pet supplies and gifts for dog lovers, get advice from expert breeders and even pamper their pooch at the on-site dog groomers.
Dogs are free to bring along to the event, which takes place between 10am and 5pm, and under 16s are also free of charge.
The showground covers a vast 90 acre-site, so there will be plenty of space to roam around, and there will also be a limit on the number of tickets available for sale to ensure social distancing.
“We are excited to bring you this new event all about dogs,” says Diana Walton, Head of Shows at Three Counties Agricultural Society, “with DOGTASTIC, we are looking to capture the joy that dogs bring and provide visitors with the chance to enjoy a fun-filled day out with their beloved pets.”
“After the lockdown and gloom of the past few months, we hope this event will bring a much-needed light-hearted day of entertainment, shopping and interactive family fun,”
The team at the Three Counties Showground has spent several months working on ways to modify and improve its facilities.
“We are delighted to have been awarded the Visit England ‘We’re Good to Go’ industry charter mark,” says Diana. “This accreditation verifies that the showground meets the Government and public health guidance on COVID-19.
“Shopping and features will be spaced out across the site, and seating areas as well as all our facilities will be maintained to the highest standards”
Tickets are limited with adult tickets costing £7.50 in advance, while dogs and under 16s go free.
