RHS Malvern Spring Festival is crowned Festival and Event of the Year in the 2025 Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards

RHS Malvern Spring Festival, held on 8-11 May this year at Three Counties Showground, picked up the prestigious Festival & Event of the Year accolade at the Visit Worcestershire Tourism Awards on Friday 14 March.

The Festival welcomes over 100,000 visitors each year and is the first RHS flower show of the year, offering the season’s first Show Gardens and a jam-packed Floral Marquee with over 60 exhibitors.

RHS Malvern was one of more than 70 finalists selected by industry expert judges. 16 winners were honoured for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the Worcestershire visitor economy.

The awards evening was hosted at Three Counties Showground which, in addition to being the home of the award-winning RHS Malvern Spring Festival, hosts over 300 days of events throughout the year in its purpose-built and multifunctional spaces. For the awards, the magnificent Severn Hall was transformed by Visit Worcestershire, supported by Three Counties’ dedicated venue hire team.

The category of Festival & Event of the Year had the highest number of finalists to beat, showing just how many fantastic festivals and events are available to attend in Worcestershire, with RHS Malvern Spring Festival coming out on top ahead of Dubs in the Middle, Hanbury Countryside Show, Harvington Hall History Festival, It’s Christmaaas! At Hanbury Hall, Piston X Gumball 3000 Hillclimb, The Worcester Festival, Upton Blues Festival and Worcester Cathedral Christmas Tree Festival. Battle of Evesham took home highly commended in the category.

The RHS Malvern Spring Festival, the first major RHS event of the year, will return to the Three Counties Showground in Malvern from 8–11 May, 2025. This four-day horticultural celebration will feature a strong emphasis on innovative, accessible, and sustainable indoor gardening.
